Andy testified at the 2022 Senate Economics References Committee hearings and advised on the creation of the Financial Accountability Act (FAR Act). This law applied a maximum $1 million fine to executives who fail to address misconduct.

The Australian Bankers Association intervened and watered the final legislation down so that the personal fines no longer applied to executives.

Andy intends to restrengthen this legislation.
